Megan has been an active member of the beauty industry for 7 years, and still loves being a working artist everyday! She started as a teenager putting together her first kit and working on theater sets, local fashion shows, prom and entering online makeup contests.
She attended her first International Makeup Artist Trade Show in LA at 16, where she’s taken classes and met many celebrity makeup artists and influencers such as Ve Neil and Jaclyn Hill. She still attends this show frequently.
She also started working at Sephora as young as possible, and has soaked in an incredible amount of experience in working with different clients and products in her 5 years with the company.
However, this was only the beginning of Megan’s career. In 2015, Megan began her studies at Faces Etc. Makeup Artist Training Center in Minneapolis, MN, where she learned how to be a professional on set and advanced techniques in makeup for HD film and photography. This training launched her career as an artist in film, fashion, and print, working behind the scenes on several Hollywood feature films and fashion shows for years. She was even invited to audition as one of the global artists for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna in LA.
With solid experience under her belt, Megan decided to move back to her hometown, Sioux Falls, SD and become licensed in her home state. Megan attended Stewart’s school and graduated as a licensed Esthetician.
During this time, she met Jodi, the owner of Bombshell Beauty Makeup Studio and the two had an instant connection in their love for the makeup industry. They ran into each other at countless events, including at the Los Angeles trade show. Everything fell into place, and they started working together almost immediately.
Megan has now been a makeup artist with Bombshell Beauty for 3 years, working countless weddings and local events in the Sioux Falls area and loving every second of it!
